Competitive Dance
Dance has been a defining part of my life, shaping my discipline, creativity, and perseverance. I began dancing at the age of three and danced competitively from fourth grade through high school graduation. From 2020 to 2023 I was a company member of i KADA Dance Youth Boston, a pre-professional dance company that performed in New York City, along side professional dancers. In my freshman year at Northeastern, I continued my passion with NUdanco, a student-run dance club. While I no longer dance, it instilled in me a deep appreciation for creativity, leadership, and the value of physical activity, all of which continue to influence how I move through life.

Meaning: Every person deserves a minimum standard of dignity and fundamental human rights. In 1948, the nations of the world gathered in Paris to approve one of the most visionary documents ever created: The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Through a tapestry of universal languages, voices, and music, this piece reflects on the world we have made and reinforces a hopeful perspective on the world we want to create.
